This was fun to work on. It came in immaculate condition so my job was to keep it looking perfect. I needed to replace the billets, recover the calf blocks and add a protective reinforcement to the lower flap as it was just starting to wear. I love working on well made saddles!! It is just amazing to think I’m working on the same pieces that a great saddler worked on…and can be a bit intimidating as well!!
