 Demo Saddle Agreement

 

On behalf of Adrienne Hendricks Saddlery and Lovatt & Ricketts, we are thrilled that you are interested in trying one of our saddles!  Trial is free.  We ask that you pay shipping. 

 

How it works:

We do not have “Demo” saddles.  We have brand new saddles for you to try.  We ask you pay for shipping and a cleaning fee of $125.  If you like the saddle, you are welcome to keep it.  If you decide not to keep it, just ask us for a return label and we’ll email it to you.  If the saddle comes back clean, we are happy to refund the cleaning fee.  We try to keep a large selection in stock but may not have the exact size for you and your horse.  In that case, we can work with you to find something close and you can try that.  Then we can order the exact saddle for you.  As we are the factory, we can make anything you would like.  If you would like to try the exact saddle and it requires us to make it, we require full payment and will have the saddle made.  If you try it and don’t like it, we will provide a refund less international shipping charges and duty.

 

When your shipment arrives, please confirm receipt of all items listed in the confirmation email.  If something is missing, please let us know.

 

We encourage you to try everything to see if they meet your requirements and fit your horse.  In doing so, we would ask you to follow the requests listed below to help keep the saddle in new condition:

 

  • Please place a thin clean saddle pad under the saddle while setting it on your horse and riding. This will keep the saddle clean and should enable you to see how it fits to your horse’s back.

 

  • Slide the enclosed BLACK sport socks completely over the stirrup leathers making sure that they cover the whole length of the leather. Do not slide the surplus leather under the keeper on the flap but keep it inside the sock.  This is important as riding in the saddle with the stirrup leathers rubbing against the flap will cause a friction mark down the center of the flap. 

 

In the event items are not suitable, please wipe off any dust, horsehair, etc. and return them to us as you received them.  Return the saddle in the box that it was received in.  If all items are not shipped within one week from the delivery date, you will be responsible for full payment listed above.  

 

You understand that you may be charged for excessive wear, damage, and restocking, including shipping, handling, damage or for any items not returned or are returned in unclean condition.  You agree to provide payment for shipping and handling of this saddle and accessories to secure your performance under this agreement, and understand that you will be charged full payment if you violate the terms of this agreement by failing to return the saddle within 1 week, you will be charged $20 per day after that time unless agreements have been made in advance.  You may also be charged a cleaning fee should the saddle or any accessory items be returned in not clean condition.
