The New Rubicon Monoflap Endurance saddle is our latest model in our Endurance range. Using our unique innovative saddle tree featuring a more open pommel and swept back tree points, which gives a whole new freedom to the movement of the horse, eliminating restrictions in the shoulder area. Using Monoflap design we now offer a truly close contact Endurance saddle for the rider.

The new L&R® Double Position Swing Bar is one of our latest features thus enabling the rider to achieve a comfortable leg position over long distances. Our stirrup bars are hinged relieving any pressure on the horse that is a common problem in this area were the stirrup leathers are attached. Our swing stirrup bars are made of the highest quality Heavyweight stainless steel with a labroatory tested breaking strain of a minimum of 2,000 pounds per bar, crafted to be unobtrusive to the rider’s thigh, which is a common problem associated with long distance riding. English wool serge lined panels stuffed with the finest 100% English lamb’s wool to assure you of the ultimate in comfort for your horses back. This model features our unique billeting system offering the rider the flexibility to move the billets to give you the perfect girth line.

Sierra™ Trail Saddle 

The Sierra™ has been designed to give comfort and security to the trail rider. It features a traditional wood and spring steel tree, with a sculptured waist, proportional seat width for rider comfort and weight distribution a traditional Western riser adds security; sweptback points allow freedom of movement in the shoulder area. Our L & R® stainless steel hinged stirrup bars relieve any pressure on the horse, which can occur in this area and also are unobtrusive to the rider’s thigh. Close contact panels are constructed using the finest English woolen felt and pure latex rubber and then covered in high-grade wool serge. A traditional long billet system is fitted eliminating any discomfort under the leg caused by girth buckles.
