I am so excited that you are interested in trying one of my saddles!! While you are reading through this email, I am getting your items ready to ship. I’ll send the tracking information in a separate email with a receipt for the shipping charges.
Right now, you are only responsible for paying shipping of the items. This estimate is a way for me to track the items I’m sending. If the saddle does not work, just email me and I’ll provide a return label. You will be charged for return shipping unless you’d like to send it yourself. Just let me know.
I encourage you to try everything to see how they meet your needs and fit your horse. I know that when you take the saddle out of the box, you might expect it to fit perfectly. If it doesn’t, please take some pictures and send them to me. I am here to help. Quite often the issue could be flocking or balance. I can help with suggestions to give you the best feel while trying it and we can discuss the issues.
The stirrups are safety quick-out and are provided for your safety. The T-bar leathers are provided for your ease of use as are the socks covering them.
For the saddle, I suggest the following to help keep it in new condition:
• Please place a thin, clean saddle pad or towel under the saddle while setting it on your horse and riding. This will keep the saddle clean and should enable you to see how it fits to your horse’s back.
• While trying the saddle, please make sure the black socks stay over the leathers covering the whole length of the leather flap. This is important as riding in the saddle with the stirrup leathers rubbing against the flap will cause a friction mark down the center of the flap.
We try to keep trials to a week or so, but we understand weather delays and surprise vet visits, etc. I have horses, kids, my business and totally get it! Just keep me in the loop if you need to keep the saddle more than a week or two.
All I ask is that the items be returned timely and in similar condition to how you received them. In the event items are not suitable, please wipe off any dust, horsehair, etc. and return them to us as you received them. If the saddle comes back really dirty, you will be charged a $125 cleaning fee. Sorry! A little dust is one thing, but chunks make my shop really messy!
